Nalu is Hawaiian for wave. We named it after the reason we get up early.

The Matcha Cart

Our little cart pops up at the weekend markets with ceremonial-grade matcha, whisked and served to order. Bright, smooth and made for slow Sundays.

Our story

Started small, by the water.

Nalu began as a little idea between friends who love the ocean and a good morning coffee. What started as a small cart became a van, and a way to bring a proper matcha and espresso to the people we share the coast with.

We are still a tiny operation, and we like it that way. Every cup is made by hand, by us, most mornings of the week.
